PBE Porjects has in the last few weeks been working in the background and here is what we’ve done.
In two weeks time we are finishing up in Indonesia (Copper plant) with exceptional value added for the material supplier ensuring their products are managed and installed correct!
In the DRC things came to an end this week, however the client (Material supplier) needs us back in about two weeks time. (Copper plant)
In Estonia where we represent the owner, things are coming to a point where one of the largest Dry outs we have ever been involved in will be commencing in the next 45 days. There is still a couple of tons material to install.
OH, and another DRC project we are working on is finding traction as well, we are helping a client with a solution to their burner system at a tar loading facility.
In South Africa we concluded O.E.M representation on a furnace rebuild. The O.E.M requested further support for one of their other clients just the other day.
We also made headway with a QC audit and are working on system implementation at another smelter where we work directly for and with the owner.
Before we had all this to keep the team busy we were Training (coaching is perhaps a better word) the production and site management teams from a Copper plant in the DRC. The objective being to upskill the plant personnel with the intent to better understand technical aspects of refractories, with specific reference to Quality & Inspection. Among other we assessed failure mechanisms, material types for specific applications and squeezed in a number of site visits at an installer, 2 x manufacturers, and discussions with specialist refractory minerologists and project managers & more over a 5 day period.
Goodness we are blessed, and I want to thank everyone with the faith in our team, those with a belief in our intention to share knowledge, transfer skill (from old hands in the industry), and simply keeping it simple.
Thank YOU!
